Meet Your Career Adviser

All PennWest California students can meet with a career adviser at the Career and Professional Development Center, in the Natali Student Center. Your career adviser will talk with you about your interests and help you complete an online career assessment. Once you're clear on your interests, skills and values, it's time to explore various majors and career options, and plan some action steps to "test out" your major, such as job shadowing and co-op programs.

Connect the Dots

Think about your interests, hobbies, skills, values and past experiences. What do you love to do, even if you're not being paid? What have you liked or not liked about your past work experiences? What is important to you in a job? Your PennWest California career adviser can help you "connect the dots" and find a major that's right for you.

Sometimes it helps to know how a major connects with career options. Read "What can I do with this major?"
