Student Association Inc. (SAI) is a 501c3 nonprofit owned by the students at PennWest California that manages the clubs and organizations on campus.

PennWest California Fraternity and Sorority Life

PennWest California offers a rich tradition of college fraternities (Greek letter organizations for men) and sororities (Greek letter organizations for women). Social activities, student leadership, scholarship and community are at the core of PennWest California Fraternity and Sorority Life. And because all PennWest California fraternities and sororities adhere to the University's values of integrity, civility and responsibility, there's no hazing allowed.

Peer Mentoring

PennWest California students study.

Get an insider's view of PennWest California - even before you start school. One of the best ways for freshmen and new transfer students to have a top college experience is through our Peer Mentoring Program. This program pairs first-year students with upperclassmen who often are in the same major or share similar interests.

Peer mentoring provides:

  • A built-in resource to talk with about what to expect when you arrive at PennWest California.
  • A great guide to help you navigate the campus, college events, social life and academic responsibilities.

Or lead your fellow students by joining the student government. At PennWest California there are countless student leadership opportunities that will build your capacity to deal with complex problems.

 

Campus Ministry

Located in PennWest California's hub of student life, the Natali Student Center, the University's campus ministry engages and supports students through character development, prayer, learning, service and social interaction. Campus ministry chaplains represent various faiths and can put students in touch with priests, ministers, clerics or rabbis of their chosen denomination in California, Pennsylvania, and the surrounding area.
