Suzanne's Law

"Suzanne's Law," requiring law enforcement to notify the National Crime Information Center when someone between the ages of 18 and 21 is reported missing, was signed into law by President George W. Bush as part of the "Amber Alert" bill.

The law was named after Suzanne Lyall, a State University of New York at Albany student who has been missing since 1998. The PennWest California Police Department complies with this law and will immediately report such missing persons to the NCIC.
