Overview
Degree Works is a web-based, academic planning and degree audit tool. The audit tool assists students and advisors effectively navigate curriculum requirements and monitor progress toward degree completion. Degree Works is accessible on the Vulcan Information Portal (VIP).
Students
Degree Works allows you to:
- Receive real-time degree information and direction for scheduling and degree planning
- Stay on track for graduation
- Gain direct access to multiple related services through hyperlinks to catalog information, class schedules, and program requirements
Academic Advisors
Degree Works allows you to:
- Support real-time delivery of academic advice through intuitive web interfaces
- Minimize errors through consistent degree plans
- Support more timely degree certification
- Reduce paperwork and manual program check sheets
- Support and monitor unique program changes
