The Center for Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship @ Cal U is your one-stop shop for all your business needs. The center provides education, consulting and training services to Cal U students, faculty and staff, as well as community members and small-business owners, to promote economic development in the Mon Valley region.

Prepare for the Business Plan Competition

Win $10K for your start-up! Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education holds an annual business plan competition for students at State System universities, with a top prize of $10,000.

The Innovation Center conducts workshops to prepare Cal U undergraduate and graduate students to enter and compete in the annual event. Cal U students utilize the D2L learning management system, among other tools, to learn more about the competition and how to develop an effective business plan.
