Faculty and staff are needed to serve as judges for our California campus’s Strike a Spark Conference, which features student research, scholarship, and creative activity. The conference will take place on Wednesday, April 17 at the Convocation Center. There will also be an online element of the conference.
Here is some more information about judging:
--Judges will evaluate five- to ten-minute student presentations at the physical site of the conference or recorded presentations on the conference website.
--The conference planning committee anticipates a greater need for judges to evaluate live presentations at the Convocation Center than asynchronous (recorded) presentations. For this reason, we anticipate a greater need for in-person judging than for remote judging.
--The conference will have two sessions:
Morning session from 9:00 to 10:40
Afternoon session from 1:00 to 2:40

-the session(s) you can judge--morning, afternoon, or both.
-your availability to judge in-person or remotely (we need many more in-person judges)
-your department/office.
