Work to remove stairs on the exteriors of Old Main and Vulcan Hall will begin June 5 and will take about a week to complete. A date for the installation of new stairs for Vulcan Hall will be announced; Old Main stair removal is permanent. All work is expected to be completed before the start of the fall semester.
Sidewalks near the work area will be closed during the removal and installation processes. You will notice a dumpster near the Paint Shop for debris removal, and the contractor will use Lot 5 for parking while on site. Employees with Lot 5 permits should not be affected.
