A planned power outage on Cal U’s campus is scheduled for Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
The outage is scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. and is expected to last 10 hours. This interruption is necessary to address the cause of an unexpected power outage earlier this year.
The affected buildings are Watkins Hall, Vulcan Hall, Old Main, South Hall, New Science Hall, Heating Plant, Pollock Building, Helsel Hall, Hamer Hall, Eberly Hall, Natali Student Center, Keystone Hall, Gallagher Hall, Guesman Hall, Residence Hall E, Morgan Hall, Noss Hall, Steele Hall, Coover Hall and the Convocation Center. Please note that elevators in these buildings will be shut down at 6:30 a.m.
Employees should contact their supervisors to make appropriate work arrangements. Supervisors should refer any questions regarding work arrangements to Eric Guiser.
