SAI Board of Directors

Class IV Undergraduate STUDENT LEADERSHIP VACANCIES

 

The SAI Board is charged with filling two (2) vacancies for undergraduate student members on the SAI Board of Directors. These positions will begin immediately upon approval by the Board and extend to June 30, 2022. 

 

According to the bylaws, Class IV members are: “Seven members who shall be members of the Corporation (full SAI fee-paying undergraduates), and members of Student Congress (Student Senate or House of Representatives).” 

 

Candidates must have demonstrated significant prior service to the University, are in good academic and disciplinary standing, and be able to participate in monthly evening Board meetings and occasional committee meetings.  By applying for the vacancy you authorize Student Affairs to review your academic and disciplinary records for eligibility.

 

Meetings:  The Student Association, Inc., Board of Directors holds regular monthly meetings during the academic year.  The schedule is established each semester to accommodate the majority of the Board member schedules.  For the spring 2022 semester, the meetings will be on Wednesday evenings with dinner at 5:30pm and the meeting start time of 6:00pm on Feb. 2, Mar. 2, Mar. 30, and Apr. 27. Special meetings may be called at the will of the President of the Student Association, Inc. Board of Directors or by a majority of the members of the Board.

4:00 p.m. – WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 26TH

 

Interviews for qualified applicants will be held during the next SAI Board Meeting on February 2 at 5:30 p.m.  Eligible candidates who cannot participate in the interviews on Feb. 2ND will be evaluated based on their submitted application materials.
