Join the Cal U Career Center for our Vulcan Professionals for Student Athletes!
All sessions for this group will take place on Mondays from 1-3 PM. Students are encouraged to attend all five sessions if they can! Each session is worth 2 Career Advantage Points toward your Career Advantage Graduation cords (10 points total for all five sessions.)
Session topics:
Monday October 18th -Introductions -Group rules -Explore Personal and Career Interests
Monday October 25 -Discuss what jobs fit your personality -Discuss how the skills and experiences in athletics translate to other careers
Monday November 1st -Resume and cover letter construction -Networking
Monday November 8th -Job/Internship Search Tools -How to contact employers
Monday November 15th -Review of all professional development skills -Set a plan of action for achieving career goals
