COELA Community Engagement Program Fall 2021
The Hispanic Student Association (HSA) and the College of Education and Liberal Arts (COELA), Community Engagement Program Fall 2021, is hosting an event on September 17th at 6:00pm at the Convocation Center South Wing.
As part of the National Hispanic Heritage Month, the Hispanic Student Association and the College of Education and Liberal Arts are organizing an evening event to make hand knit children blankets for Afghan families coming to Pittsburgh.
Materials will be provided, and no knitting skills required. We will teach the hand knit technique and a child blanket can be made in 1 ½ hour! We need 30 volunteers for that afternoon.
Come have fun, learn a cool new hobby, and help children in need. Snacks provided. We’ll see you there!
