If you're considering taking a geology course next semester, the prefixes have been updated. Look for them under GLG - Geology to see what's on offer.
The courses are the same, it's only the prefix that has changed. They will count towards your degree in the same way as the EAS courses did. If you've been considering taking Intro to Geology, it will now be listed as GLG 150 in the schedule (instead of EAS 150) and will still count as a Natural Science General Education option.
