Please join me on Wednesday, May 13, at 11:00 am for a Zoom meeting to walk through the process of obtaining clearances through CastleBranch.
ALL teacher education candidates (both incoming and current) are required to have a CastleBranch account for managing their clearances. This applies to all course-related observation, field, and clinical experiences, as well as student teaching. It is recommended that Teacher Education Candidates apply for these clearances during their first semester at Cal U and then each summer thereafter.
In our Zoom session, I will share sample screens from CastleBranch and information on each required clearance, discuss common mistakes that are made when using the CastleBranch system, and provide directions to resolve any issues that arise.
Please join me on Wednesday to get your clearances or clearance renewals started so that you will have all required documents on file in CastleBranch by the summer deadline.
If you cannot make the Zoom session on Wednesday, a presentation will be added to the EDU 022 and EDU 033 course shells in D2L after the meeting.
