To All State Employees’ Retirement System Participants.
Within the next few weeks you will receive your 2019 State Employees’ Retirement System Statement of Account which contains information through December 31, 2019.
Please carefully review your statement paying close attention to the following:
ü Your name is spelled correctly.
ü Your address is correct, if you recently moved.
ü Your date of birth and social security number are correct.
ü Ensuring the name(s) listed under Principal Beneficiaries is/are correct.
ü Multiple Service is indicated, if you have elected to combine credited State Retirement and Public Schools Retirement service.
ü Years of service includes any prior service that you may have purchased.
ü An amount is indicated for Service Purchase Debt if you have elected to defer payment of the prior service you purchased, also known as Actuarial Reduction.
