2020 Black History Month
The Next 400 Years
Recognition * Restoration * Resilience
This month, we will use this platform to hear and reflect on the words and wisdom of historical and current inspirational African American and Black individuals.
May we all be inspired and encouraged to learn from one another and to treat each other with dignity and respect.
I believe in Liberty for all men: the space to stretch their arms and their souls, the right to breathe and the right to vote, the freedom to choose their friends, enjoy the sunshine, and ride on the railroads, uncursed by color; thinking, dreaming, working as they will in a kingdom of beauty and love. –W.E.B. DuBois
