Dr. Rueben Brock

Dr. Rueben Brock received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from West Virginia University. During his doctoral training, Brock was awarded a SAMHSA Minority Fellowship through the American Psychological Association. After receiving his doctoral training, Brock joined the faculty in the Psychology Department at Cal U, where he teaches at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Brock's research interest is in career and acadmic self-efficacy among black students.

Dr. Brock has been working in the social services since 1998, and his work has ranged from residential treatment of mentally ill adolescents to family therapy and drug and alcohol treatment. He regularly does lectures and presentations on cultural issues, mental health, and leadership topics. He maintains a private practice south of Pittsburgh, Pa.
