American Democracy Project
The American Democracy Project is a multi-campus initiative focused on higher education's role in preparing the next generation of informed, engaged citizens for our democracy.

Continuing Education
The Office of Continuing Education coordinates non-degree programs, non-credit courses for professional or personal enrichment, and job training through the Trade Adjustment Act and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.

Learning and Language Center
The Learning and Language Center Preschool Program welcomes children of PennWest California employees and area families. PennWest California students in the Department of Communication Disorders gain clinical experience at this laboratory school.

School Psychology Clinic
The School Psychology Clinic operated by the Psychology Department offers psychological testing services to evaluate behavioral or learning issues, assist with career exploration, assess kindergarten readiness and more. Services are available to the public and to PennWest California students and employees.

Speech and Hearing Clinic
The Speech and Hearing Clinic operated by the Department of Communication Disorders offers diagnostic and therapeutic services for a variety of communication problems. Services are offered to the public and to PennWest California students and employees.

TRIO Upward Bound
Upward Bound is a federally funded TRIO program that helps to prepare eligible high school students for success in postsecondary education. PennWest California's Upward Bound program serves students from Fayette and Greene counties.

Civil War Roundtable
PennWest California proudly hosts the monthly Civil War Roundtable in the Kara Alumni House on campus. The public is invited to attend the free meetings, where expert speakers explore various aspects of the American Civil War.
